Biography
Danielle Houston ColemanMSW, LCSW, ACSW
Danielle has over fifteen years of experience working with children and families. Her mental health work includes: individual psychotherapy with children & adults, marriage & family therapy, and case consultations with schools and other professionals. In addition, she has experience in medical social work, school social work, and case management services.
She obtained her Bachelor of Science Degree in Psychology from North Carolina Central University and her Master’s Degree in Social Work from the University of Georgia. She is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, a Licensed School Social Worker, a member of the Academy of Certified Social Workers, and she is a Certified Clinical Supervisor for practicing social workers. She maintains professional memberships with the Charlotte Chamber of Commerce, the National Association of Black Social Workers and the National Association of Social Workers, where she sits on the board of directors as one of the Southern Piedmont District Representatives for the state of NC. She is also an active member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc., an organization that focuses on providing service to all mankind.
Danielle and her husband, Troy are parents to three children. Danielle strives daily to embrace the challenges of life with an enthusiastic approach. She finds inspiration and strength in life’s challenges and encourages others to look optimistically at the challenges present in their own lives.
